Growing up I always had a real christmas tree.. and was totally opposed the first year we set up a fake one. But this is an interesting factoid … don’t think I’ll be doing the real tree thing any more! :)

It takes eight to 12 years for the average evergreen to grow into fluffy adulthood, at which point it’s typically chopped down and trashed within a month or two.
